Faith-Based Retreats for Bereaved Parents New Mexico

Our New Mexico While We’re Waiting Weekends are held at Glorieta Adventure Camp, a beautiful Christ-centered retreat facility nestled in the mountains near Santa Fe. Surrounded by towering pines and the natural beauty of northern New Mexico, Glorieta provides a peaceful setting where bereaved parents can step away from the distractions of everyday life and spend a weekend connecting with others who understand the journey of child loss.

Guests enjoy comfortable hotel-style accommodations with private bathrooms, along with inviting meeting and gathering spaces and meals provided throughout the weekend. The expansive mountain setting also offers plenty of opportunities to enjoy the outdoors, take a quiet walk, or simply spend some time surrounded by God’s creation.

As with all While We’re Waiting events, our New Mexico weekends provide a safe, welcoming place to share our children, our struggles, and our hope in Christ as we learn to live well while we wait to be reunited with them in Heaven.

Lodging for Friday and Saturday nights and all meals from Friday night through Sunday morning are provided, and there is no cost to attend this event.

This event is open to both single parents and married couples. All attendees must meet the requirements of our Attendance Eligibility Policy and comply with our Housing Policy.
