Ronni lives in Little Rock, Arkansas, and married her husband, Chad, on January 8, 2000. They have three amazing children: Owen, Jenna, and Paxton. On December 12, 2022, Paxton was involved in an at-home accident that caused an anoxic brain injury. He spent 4 weeks in the pediatric ICU, fighting and progressing. He was moved to the rehab floor for two weeks to begin the long journey of recovery. Without warning or medical explanation, Paxton met Jesus on January 25, 2023, and is forever 10.

She and Chad discovered While We’re Waiting shortly after Paxton left. It has been a lifeline, and they are privileged to walk arm in arm with other grieving parents. She hopes to encourage others and honor Paxton through her grief journey of learning to carry both joy and sorrow, and lament and trust.
