Chad and Ronni live in Little Rock, Arkansas and were married January 8, 2000. They have three amazing children: Owen, Jenna and Paxton. On December 12, 2022, Paxton was involved in an at home accident that caused an anoxic brain injury. He spent 4 weeks in the pediatric ICU, fighting and progressing. He was moved to the rehab floor for two weeks to begin the long journey of recovery. Without warning or medical explanation, Paxton met Jesus January 25, 2023 and is forever 10.

We discovered While We’re Waiting shortly after Paxton left. It has been a lifeline and we are privileged to walk arm in arm with other grieving parents. We hope to encourage others and honor Paxton through our grief journey of learning to carry both joy and sorrow, and lament and trust.
