Brian and Carol will be celebrating their 41st wedding anniversary in August of 2026. During the early years – 1988 through 1993 – we were blessed with four children in five years, and we are currently enjoying our retirement within our empty nest … Wow, time flies! Since our oldest son, Christopher, age 29, was killed in a head-on collision caused by a drunk driver on September 23, 2017, there have been many spiritual challenges within our grief journey. After attending a While We’re Waiting Weekend in September 2025, the Lord has not only encouraged us with the amazing people within the WWW ministry, but has used their heartbeat for grieving parents to inspire hope and a brighter path for our future as we seek to encourage other parents who are grieving as well.
