retreat facilitators Ben and Beth Schultz

Ben and Beth Schultz live in Astoria, Oregon. Their precious daughter Bea was born into the arms of Jesus on June 16, 2019, less than two weeks before her due date. They have 7 other children ranging in age from 28 down to 5 years old. Ben is a superintendent for a local construction company while Beth spends her days taking care of the children and homeschooling. They are both very involved with their church, where Ben is a deacon and Beth is a worship leader. Their deepest desire is to honor the Lord with their lives and to share His love and hope with the hurting and broken. They feel so blessed to be a part of the While We’re Waiting ministry and to be able to walk alongside other grieving parents on this journey of waiting.
